About the Author

I originated from England and currently reside in Western Canada, having travelled and lived in several of this country’s beautiful provinces.

I have been active in the local arts community and in my participation in the North Shore Writers’ Association as a speaker and writer. I have authored two historical novels, Olive and Full Circle, both of which were selected for showcasing in the North Shore Authors’ Collection for 2021-2022 year; an initiative shared between North Vancouver City Library, North Vancouver District Public Library, and West Vancouver Memorial Library.

As a former writer and editor of environmental publications within Environment Canada, I now nurture my interest in the natural environment by beachcombing and spending part of the year in the Cascades area of the USA where I have enjoyed many years hiking the trails with my rescued canine companions and howling to the moon with the coyotes around the campfire.
